About this place
One of the memorable features at Teppan Yakiniku О̄atari is the hands-on way of eating: tilt the hot plate to collect the meat juices and fat at one side, then stir in spicy miso and coat the pork and cabbage. Several diners have described this method. You can enjoy the meat and vegetables as they are at first, then add the miso for a change of flavour. Diners also praise spooning the spicy-miso-coated pork and cabbage over rice, saying it makes a satisfying accompaniment.
Teppan yakiniku is priced at ¥1,080 for a single serving, ¥1,490 for one and a half servings, ¥1,980 for a double and ¥2,980 for a triple. It is easy to start with a single serving or order more when you have a bigger appetite. Rice ranges from small (130g) to extra-large (450g). A lunch menu is available, with onsen egg and lunch kimchi listed as add-ons at ¥100 each, and a raw egg at ¥50.
For a side dish, consider “Our Potato Salad”, described as a mix of crisp onion and cucumber with chunky potato. It is suggested as a companion to beer, highballs or sour cocktails. The restaurant offers dine-in meals at lunch and in the evening; you can choose how much teppan yakiniku and rice to order.
